# Mechanical equipment schedule

Generate, copy, or download a mechanical equipment schedule.

The Mechanical Equipment Schedule lists all configured sources with their key parameters — area served, sizing, system type, and unit features.

## Opening the schedule

Open the hamburger menu (≡) → **File** → **Export** → **Schedules**. The **Mechanical Equipment Schedule** modal opens (make sure the discipline switcher is set to Mechanical).

## Schedule columns

| Column        | Description                                               |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Name          | Source name as entered in the design environment          |
| Area Served   | Zone names assigned to the source                         |
| Tons          | The source's Nominal Size                                 |
| CFM           | Estimated airflow in CFM                                  |
| System Type   | Equipment type and supply-fan configuration               |
| Unit Features | Abbreviated feature codes (PH, CC, RH, HR, HGR, HP, HRHP) |

When no sources are configured, the modal shows: *"No systems configured yet. Add sources with zones to see schedule data."*

## Exporting

* **Download PNG** — exports the schedule as an image (`mechanical-schedule.png`) with a white background and no UI controls.
* **Copy to Clipboard** — copies the schedule as both rich (HTML) and plain text, so it can be pasted into a document or spreadsheet.

## Notes

* **Tons** is the **Nominal Size** you selected for the source. Leave Nominal Size blank and the schedule falls back to Strata's recommended size — see [Sources and Equipment](/workflows/mechanical-planning/sources-and-equipment.md).
* Sizes and CFM values are density-based schematic estimates, not a load calculation. Verify against load calculations in later phases.
* Unit features appear as feature codes in the schedule.
