# Topology view

Review the active discipline's system hierarchy as a diagram.

The Topology view renders a diagram of the current discipline's system hierarchy for the project — the relationships between its levels, without the floor plan geometry. Available for Mechanical and Electrical; not yet available for Plumbing.

## Activating Topology view

Select **Topology** in the view switcher in the top nav bar (diagram icon).

## What it shows

The diagram reflects the active discipline's hierarchy — Mechanical's System → Source → Zone → Space, or Electrical's System → Source → Distribution → Branch → Space. Nodes represent each level; edges represent the containment relationships. Node colors match the colors used in the Canvas and Data views. * Verify that every space is fully assigned up the hierarchy before generating a schedule
* Review the system structure without navigating the floor plan

## What you can do here

The Topology view is primarily for review. You can select nodes and delete them from the diagram (toolbar: **Select**, **Fit To Screen**, **Delete Selected**), but to **reassign** relationships — move an item to a different parent — use the Canvas or Data view, or the left Layers tree.
